About This File

This is a rare rom that supposedly came out in late 1981.

The game runs under its own emulator and runs under windows.
Note program is heavy graphics so you want a good graphics card.

Quick story behind this psychedelic arcade game.
The game showed up in several arcade rooms around Portland and then disappeared 4 weeks later. Evidently, they were test machines for the government.
Yes, that is correct, part of the on going government MK-Ultra experiment.

The game play is designed to subject the player to hypnotic, subliminal messages via audio and visual injection. The psychedelic video effects trick the players mind into feeling the simulated effect of an acid/lLSD trip. Test subjects that played the game while under the influence of these drugs became instantly addicted to the game stating the level of their "high" was far greater than any other experience.

The joysticks had sensors to read changes in players temperatures and electrical status during games play.
It has also been suggested that the joystick somehow injected or caused chemicals to be absorbed thru the skin to administer a cocktail of experimental drugs to enhance the the gaming experience. The data was stored and later retrieved by agents for further study. Reports from that time frame in Portland show that there were many seizures occurring in local arcades.

Rumor's of all kinds of physical and mental ailments such as motion sickness, memory loss, nightmares, seizures, headaches, and fainting have supposedly occurred while playing this game. The game is initially set up as mild stimulation.

Use the read me text for instruction how to set up  the intense stimulation mode. I will admit, playing it for a short while, I did get a headache and my
stomache felt quite woozzy.

Play at your own risk.!
